Rochelle Boyd hails from the beautiful island of Jamaica and is a board-certified Nurse Practitioner who holds dual certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner and Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner. She has over 14 years’ experience in the healthcare industry.

Rochelle graduated from the University of Florida, Gainesville with a bachelor’s in health education, and a specialization in Community Health. She later went on the earn a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Florida Atlantic University in 2008.

With a passion for education and the desire to be able to advocate for patients, she furthered her studies by earning Master of Science in Nursing Degree from Florida Atlantic University in 2013 and later a post Master’s Certificate in Psychiatric Nursing from University of Miami in 2018.

Rochelle has worked in a variety of settings including an extensive background in Surgical Trauma, Women’s Health, Primary Care, Geriatrics, Pediatrics, Corrections, and Psychiatry. Throughout her career, she has received numerous awards and nominations for providing excellent quality care to her patients.

She is devoted to patient care and encourages total wellness in both physical and mental health. She currently practices in psychiatry treating conditions such as depression, anxiety, bipolar disorders, PTSD, sleep disorders, as well as ADHD.

She prides herself in ensuring longevity in patient’s health, developing long lasting patient relationships, and providing care with the best treatments available. She considers herself a great listener who enjoys engaging with people of different backgrounds, experiences, and walks of life. As a clinician, she continues to promote mental health awareness in efforts to reduce the stigma of the disease while helping to empower individuals struggling with mental illness.
